I love going to market. It’s always so inspiring to see how different manufacturers display their products, see the actual size and scale of things typically seen in catalogues and meet the folks that I typically talk to via fax and phone. Its nice to put a name with a face and a product with a visual memory.
I’m not an expert on market, but I do have an eye for beauty. I want to share some of my favorites from the Atlanta Merchandise Home and Gift Market this past week. Here are some of my favorites.
Loving these new chandeliers from Arteriors.

I really like this convex mirror wall art installation.

Wonderful small wooden artisan table with a paper thin tin metal wrapped top and base. Gorgeous!

Loving these clever book ends.

These wall panels are genius from Noir. They’re just burlap wrapped plywood panels with a black painted patterned architectural detail. I like the simplicity of the black, white and beige in this showroom.

Blue Ocean Traders has some of the best decorative pottery.

I like these restored fisherman’s glass spheres–a great way to add a touch of color and beach.

Great oversized chair and simple side table/stool/ottoman.

I’m sure that you’ve seen the large two-sided wine rack with the hinged top–the one that looks like some guy selling 2 for 1 hotdogs should be wearing it. Almost everyone has it, so what if you want something different and don’t have enough space for a huge sign-of-a-wine-rack? Look at this little mini from Regina Andrew Design. It’s perfect for a small apartment or town home wall.

Loving her lighting, too!

Finally, I’ve found some great metal bar stools and some with backs!

Smart! These would make great bedside lamps–a classy alternative to dorm room clip on lamps.

Sweet!

Loving the old and new mix from Four Hands.

Halo Styles has some of the best looking and most comfortable leather side chairs.

I really like their faux succulents and other plants along with their small scale furniture and lighting.

While they’re know for their bright color plasterwork, I love Stray Dog for its glittery and glamourous mirror furniture.

Vagabond Vintage always has the most beautiful vignettes. I really love all their mercury glass accessories.

Here are a couple of my favorites from Zentique.

The 2010 Altanta Home Market was a success! If you weren’t able to make it this time, I hope that you have an idea of the new product and displays from this post!
A toute a l’heure,
