I’ve just returned from Rosemary Beach, and I couldn’t be more refreshed. My trip was filled with good food, friends, fun, rest and beauty. Rosemary is gorgeous, and I stole every picture that I could get to share with you a la my camera. One of the most unique architectural elements of Rosemary is the neutral palette and bold use of contrast.

I like the subtle pops of color in unexpected places and in nature.

One of my favorite and must-visit spots (just down the road from Rosemary) is the Red Bar. It’s one of those places that you love at night, but you would never want to see the interior during the day. If you’ve ever been there, you know what I mean (do you think that they’ve ever cleaned those red velvet draperies that line the walls?).  Anyway, the Red Bar always is a blast, and on this trip, it was my favorite night.
It was a night of celebrations…one of the girls at the table is expecting a little one (no, not me!)
It was also a night of surprises…
No lie: there was literally an eight foot long alligator in the middle of the road. Poor guy. I know that they’re deadly, but the police probably didn’t even give him a chance to run back into the swamp.
It was a wonderful vacation. One thing that’s for sure is that I’m in love with Rosemary almost as much as my cute husband, and I think that this is the tannest that I’ve been in years!
I cannot wait to return!
