Do you ever have those moments where you wish that you could be someone else for a day? I do today! I wish that I could transport myself into the shoes of designer, stylist, mother and wife, Annette Joseph. To learn more about her, visit her blog HERE. I’m just about to add it to my reading list, because she is incredibly talented and so down to earth and unassuming.
Before meeting Angie, a super cute and energetic young professional designer from Nashville’s Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams, I didn’t know about Annette Joseph. I probably should have, but I have to try really hard at staying socially connected and knowing who ‘to know’. Anyway, she seems wonderful, and after reading about her recent project with Gwyneth Paltrow pulled from Gwyneth’s blog GOOP (another blog that I’m adding to my reading list), I want to be her! Could someone please transport me into Annette’s life for a day? I guess that you could say I have a Professional Crush on her.

I would be on Cloud 9 if I ever had the chance to work on the project like Annette’s project with Gwyneth. It’s not that I don’t love all my clients–I DO–you are all so wonderful!! But, I think that it would be such a highlight in my career if I had the opportunity to work with someone like Gwyneth.
This is what Annette started with…
And this is what she made for Gwyneth and her family…

Annette transformed a white box apartment into a well-thought-out and well designed functional space. It looks like the Paltrow’s have lived here for years. Not to mention that Annette’s transformation happened in 10 days! Wow! She, along with the rest of the crew, worked 16-18 hours a day. I’d like to think that I could accomplish something like that, but I don’t think that I would come close.

Way to go, Annette! Fantastic job. Thank you for the inspiration!

A tout a l’heure,

Natalie
