Adding an area rug to a room can help centralize the space. What is fantastic about Young House Love’s kitchen (shown above) is that the rug adds a flare of color to what would be a seemingly monochromatic room.

Look at these finds from Dash & Albert! I’m barefoot with color just looking at them!! Even better, they’re made from polypropylene fiber so they are hose-able and bleach-able. No joke! They’re for indoor and outdoor use, so when you spill you’re grandma’s spaghetti sauce on the rug, no worries, you can just bleach it off!
